We all have eyes;
but do we all have sight? We all have the power to capture images, but we do
not all obtain the ability to see something more than an image through the lens.
I have that ability. The very moment I look through the lens I seize a story. I
view the life, the creation of nature and our very own environment. As soon as
I hear the snap of my shutter, I feel excitement explode through my body. All
of a sudden, I obtain a new sight. My eyes don’t simply see the green grass,
the barren rocks, and the obvious settings intruding on my future path. They
see the colors, the shadows cast by unknown objects, and they see the snapshots
which create our life’s story; the events that make us who we are. When I have
that common urge to freeze a moment so I can shoot a picture, I know that
photography is what I was born to mold myself into. At this moment, I am a
simple photographer, but furthering my education is the single objective of my
life. With my abstract ability to turn even the most simplest of objects and
scenes into a room of awe, my determination to prove life wrong about my own
abilities, and my desire to become free of my own judgment I could help people
with my photographs. I could spread the truth of the world’s reality with care
and devotion from my eyes and the very lens of my camera. I don’t want to be
just some photographer who snaps good shots. I want to be a photographer who
captures the moment within that moment, someone who had to work excruciatingly
hard to get where I land and someone who will care more about the seconds
flashing through my lens than the time it took to get to that destination. Anything
will inspire me…anyone could inspire me…I have no limitations.
